It’s that wonderful time of year where we get to eat all things pumpkin, apple and cinnamon. It’s like a holiday in itself, and what a glorious holiday it is. Besides baking apple and pumpkin pies, enjoying pumpkin spice lattes, and enjoying the beautiful fall weather that North Carolina has to offer during these fall months, it’s also a time to enjoy hayrides and pumpkin patches. If you’re like me and enjoy a little ‘spunk’ to your pumpkin patch experience, Hill Ridge Farms is for you! This was our first year visiting Hill Ridge Farms, and I promise you when I say that I was NOT disappointed in the least. This place is AMAZING! Like AHH-MAY-ZING! Between the bounce pillow, gem panning, super slide, train ride, hayride, food options, face painting, pony rides, bunnies, sheep, duck pond, super-friendly people, low admission price, country store and clean, paved sidewalks, I was in HEAVEN! And so were my kids. There is so much to do that any age child will have a blast. I’m honestly trying to fit this into our weekend calendar from now until they close in November. AND THEN?! I heard that they open the day after Thanksgiving with a Festival of Lights!!! OH YES!
